PayStay leading the way
PayStay, the mobile payment solution provided by DCA, has continued kicking goals early into 2017, with some major developments to start the year.
|As the new year rolled in, so too did the new school semester at leading education provider Griffith University. In need of a mobile solution to assist in their parking, Griffith University selected PayStay as their app of choice for students, staff and visitors alike.
Joining Griffith University in choosing the fastest growing pay-by-mobile solution in Australia was the Mackay Regional Council, who looked for an innovative solution to their paid parking areas.
Mackay Regional Council has fully embraced the M-Commerce revolution that is sweeping the nation by introducing PayStay, using the contactless and cashless solution as the sole method for parking payment transactions in the paid areas of the CBD.
To promote the use of PayStay in the Mackay Area, Mackay Regional Council created this informative video in their local area, which was shared across multiple social platforms:
|PayStay, which operates entirely within Australia with an Australian-based call centre, Australian development staff and Australian-hosted data centres, has experienced a rapid uptake in use since it was introduced to the market in 2014.
Now with more than a quarter of a million subscribers, the app is used in locations all over the country including Victoria, NSW, Queensland and Western Australia in both major-metro regions as well as regional centres.
PayStay’s reach has been impressive, and has even earned social media praise on Twitter by none other than AFL Premiership player and media identity Wayne Schwass. The former North Melbourne and Sydney Swans star is just one of many to enjoy the switch from carrying countless coins to using the app.
